I love the customer care and recommend them whenever I can, I even recommended them to my Uber driver.Always spot on. This is the place. I have been shopping around for an honest and professional mechanic in North County for 3 years. Until now I have been consistently disappointed, including by overpriced dealerships.Brought in a car with a check engine light that multiple shops could not figure out. I got a detailed diagnosis that was fully transparent with a a reasonable repair estimate and a timely completion of work. I will definitely be back.

They did amazing work. They send a link you can access to see exactly what needs to be done and what could wait. Never been to a place like this before but it’s better than where I was going. I brought my 2019 Jeep Wrangler in for a Check Engine Light service. Jared not only emailed me, but also texted before my appointment and took the time to explain the service and the cost. The source of the problem was a number of wires chewed by rodents, and Jared sent me photos of all the damage before beginning any repairs. I really appreciated the communication from them, and I did not feel scammed or lied too. Their price was fair, and service happened fairly quickly. I would certainly bring my vehicles to this shop again.

This business is exceptional.I have had 2 experiences with them, and I have found my new mechanics. Jerad is possibly one of the most professional individual I've met.Let me first say that when they do an inspection...it's so thorough, you even get a link that describes what's going on and images of the area in question. Love this.They had the task to fix my breaks, and as all mechanical issues throw you a curveball. There were other issues unseen. Well...they took care of that too.Anyway, I believe they are real professionals, and their pricing is fair, and above all, they are honest businessmen.

I would like to thank the staff at Mission Auto Care. I needed service on my car for an engine problem. I had a long distance trip planned. When I called Jared saw me right away and diagnosed my problem and scheduled a next day appointment. They provided transportation for me get to where I was going that day. The manager, Jared, is professional, nice, personable, and trustworthy. He always explains everything and only made recommendations for the necessary services. He kept me updated on when my car would be ready. Because of the kind and courteous service, I felt totally confident to drive my car on the long distance trip. My car performed well. My brakes were metal on metal. They took me in right away. Jared was very informed and professional. He explained clearly what was needed for safety and had recommendations for both an inexpensive route and a better upgraded version of materials. My choice! Whole experience was pretty great. First of all, went in for an inspection that cost 200$ for ONE Monitor, Which they did not even set.After i was quoted 999$! For a replacement job .What a joke! What arrogance.To change out 2 o2 sensor and a Drive test. I had a transmission clutch pulled out for less!I had paperwork on the floor from my glovebox (They appently like going through your things!)In total i was about to pay 1,200 for the bill.Trying to pull a fast one on customers.Paid 200 for both sensors online.(EBAY)I replaced the items myself. Saved well over 1000$ i would have given them to change out 2 sensors and to drive the car.The Pettyness.Stay alert out there. Dont give your money to swindlers.(The info they provided me in the inpection was not even the right information to my engine promblem.)

This shop is really great they really took the time to understand what I needed. I feel like they assessed my vehicle thoroughly and even found a few things that I wasn't aware of. I think they did a very timely job to get my vehicle back to me as soon as possible finishing the job ahead of time. I think in this economy there pricing is very fair and they're very trustworthy. Feels to me like they are looking for long-term customers and really bringing professionalism and satisfaction. I've had some pretty bad experiences at other places and I even stressed my concerns and they were very attentive to hearing me out and assuring me that I was in good hands with this shop. I will be taking my vehicle here for all further needs that they can handle for sure. I really can't say enough about how much they went above and beyond to work with me when most other shops wouldn't. I would definitely recommend this shop to anybody looking to get quality repairs done by highly professional technicians had a very affordable and fair rate. I can only give good praises for Mission Auto Care. I had a high temperature light come on while I was visiting Oceanside. I had gone to Auto Nation Hyundai and they were absolutely terrible, no customer service. They told me maybe he could get me in 3 or 4 days. When I was leaving the next day. Jarrod at Mission Auto Care took my car said he would diagnose it today and call me back. He did just that. They diagnosed my car, his tech took my car out to test it. They did not find anything wrong with my car. I go to get my car (Jarrod even paid Uber to bring me back to my resort). I go to get my car. Jarrod did not charge me for anything. None of the diagnostic not even for their time. Such a good place to do business. Really great customer service for a visitor to his city.

Jeep was overheating, from another bad mechanics work. Brought here and explained and brought the paper work. Was quoted 3k for headgasket repair. I agreed even though that is expensive. They told me 3 weeks to fix. I got kids and im busy in a small rental car for 2 weeks with toddlers. I found another mechanic that was cheaper tried to get my car back they told me they were half way done in half a week so I couldnt take my car back unless it was towed and I was told id have to pay for work so far. They gave me my car back in 2 weeks and it over heated above 230F after driving down the road. My light bar was disconnected and bumper headlights not working which i suspect disconnected. My engine cover missing they claim it wasnt them I went back to the other mechanics that touched my car and they say they dont re call they said they put it back. Jorge alonso, oceanside auto and this place over charge and can't diagnose cars correctly. They blame it on me having a radiator repair from jorge alonso and having mud tires. My jeep has been lifted with mud tires for years never had this problem. I now have to find someone else to fix this overheating issue after paying them $6500. They were asking whether or not i am military and they were not believing when i said no since my car is military styled no im not military i just like tough stuff. what does that have to do with my car being taken care of If I am military or not the car should be taken care of and not over charged 91.00 for 20 dollar hoses. This place is too expensive for work that does not solve the problem they offer guesses for problems not definitive answers and solutions.

This place is the best and so very honest. I took my Jeep Cherokee in and after taking it to a few other mechanics I was told it couldn’t be fixed. I was referred to them by a friend. At Mission Auto they fixed my car in two weeks but it was a big job. Jarod is outstanding and will call and update you on your car. I won’t be going anywhere else ever. They are my mechanic from now on!!!! Love this place!

The A/C in our 2004 Ford van died just west of Albuquerque on our way to Oceanside from Oklahoma.In July. We hadn’t even made to the desert yet. It was a painful drive.Made a LOT of phone calls and even stopped at two different locations including one ford dealership, but everyone was booked for a week or two out. Wouldn't even look at the vehicle.Called Mission Auto, spoke to Jared on Friday afternoon. He said get it to me Monday morning and he’ll see what he could do. Dropped it Monday 8 am, got a text at 11:30 am with diagnostics and details. Yes, worst case possible, compressor blown. Authorized repairs and he had it back to us Tuesday afternoon.We were an out-of-town customer, never going to use this business again, and he treated us like we were family in peril. Made room in the schedule, kept us up to date on status of repair. Awesome service, highly recommended.

Called and spoke to Almar schedule to replace the alternator on my 2007 Ford Expedition LE. Bought it in the morning and was completed as promised. I also had the oil change while it was having the repair done. Overall very impressed and satisfied with the customer service. Alfredo was the mechanic who handled the job. Used the application for free oil change with repair but wasn't honored. I needed to have it when I dropped off the Expedition. I forgot to bring it but called and spoke to the Rudy and he said said just bring it when I pickup the Expedition. Well that didn't happen and the work order was close with the final price. No adjustments made when I handed the mechanic the coupon.Still happy with Alfredo for completing the work.My review is for the service provided and I will definitely bring my vehicle back in the future. I recommend this local business to anyone looking for major services. Especially if you have an older vehicle.

I had never used them before and the reason I did was they are supposed to be a AAA certified garage. And we’re close to me. After having my car towed there, I get a quote of $4950. saying I needed a new head gasket. I didn’t have that kind of money so I had it towed to my regular garage. They did same testing and all the car needed was a heater hose and some coolant. Cost: $350. Never use these robbers. ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. Seemed like they saw a naive woman to take advantage of. I’d give them 0 stars if I could.

Jared has gone out of his way to help me numerous times. He is very honest and is so good on communication! My car was taken to an auto shop in downtown Oceanside 3 separate times due to problems with my transmission. Each time my car came back driving worse than before. After taking it to mission auto care Jared was able to get it back to me within a few days, all fixed!!! I’m so thankful for him and his crew!

Mission Auto diagnosed the problem of leaking fluids to the thermostat housing.. They also discovered battery cable corrosion. They repaired the cable and replaced the battery. Pictures were sent to verify the necessary repairs. The service manager was very easy to speak with and we discussed repairs that may need attention in the future. The car was repaired the next day, fluids were replace and my car is running great!

I drive an all electric car, the Chevy Bolt EV. After 5 years and 60K miles, the 12 volt battery died a sudden, and I mean right now, death. Fortunately it was in my garage. I called the local Chevy dealer and was told to get the car towed in (it was Friday) and they would schedule it Monday and I could pick it up on the following Wednesday.I called and spoke with Jared who told me that if I could get him the car soon he could do an electrical system check and get the car back to me before the end of the day. I called AAA, got towed. Around 4 he called and said the car was all done, the system was rebooted by their EV tech and ready to go. I told him I would see if I could get a neighbor to drive me down to the shop and he said don't bother, he was going to get me an Uber. When the driver got me there I asked him how much and he said the shop was going to pick up the tab!The bill was $50 less than I expected and before 5 PM I was home with a functioning best car I've ever owned.I can't say enough about how great this repair shop is. I'm recommending them to all of my friends and neighbors. Thank you for the great customer service you provided.

I had a serious brake problems and they took my car in immediately, provided a free shuttle home and kept in constant contact with progress and pictures of the problems. They completed the work when they said they would and offered a free shuttle from my house to pick it up … even had a container of candy ready for me inside the car! The car runs beautifully! What’s not to like!! I will be using their services exclusively from now on.

Torked the suspension and did an alignment. Superb work. Now my car feels solid again!I am so pleased with Jared, who went through the estimate line by line, explaining everything that needed to be done, along with pictures. 2014 mini cooper was towed to Mission Auto Care after losing power on the highway. This shop traced the issue to a broken solder joint in the fusebox. They stood behind the work and 'made it right' when the replacement part did not work as expected. I was impressed with the quality of work and communication while the work was progressing. This shop is where I go to get it done right.

Very please with the maintenance and work that was done on our car. The owner guided me through the selection of possible mud and snow tires and directed me towards one that I just love. My Tahoe handles better than I ever could imagine it would. On a previous visit they directed me towards some fog lights and this visit they installed them. With the recent snowstorm I was able to test out the fog lights and the tires am I driving experience was fabulous Would highly recommend Mission Auto Care to our family friends and others.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Mission auto care. Excellent prices for all the work that was done. They did the cooling lines to my turbos, spark plugs, upper control arms and my front 4 wheel drive hubs and they also found the vacuum leak that made the hubs go out. They treated me right, diagnosed and found all the issues, kept me up to date on the status of the repairs and had my truck back to me earlier than promised and earlier than I thought it would take. Big thanks to the guys over at Mission Auto Care! I've been bringing my vehicle here since buying it a few years ago. Even brought my car before that to these guys.
