Can Driving Over Potholes Damage Your Car?

Potholes are a common occurrence on our roads and can't always be avoided completely while driving. Although you may try to drive around them, sometimes you may miss them or can't dodge them. You may hit the pothole hard and think, I hope I didn't just hurt my vehicle! Unfortunately, potholes can have an effect on our cars depending on the health of our vehicle, the depth of the pothole, and how fast you were traveling. Here are some of the ways that potholes can damage your vehicle:  Tires - tires can be damaged in a number of ways after hitting a pothole. It can cause the side of the tire to actually blow out due to the pressure on one side of the tire.
